Status of Federal Agencies' Implementation of the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act

GAO reviewed the progress Federal agencies were making in implementing the Alaska National Interests Lands Conservation Act.

The review provided information on the administration and management of the new and expanded conservation units; the implementation of the Act's special land-use provisions, special studies provisions, and land transfer conveyance provisions; and budget proposals and staffing.
