These challenges include (1) increasing U.S. businesses' access to international markets, (2) ensuring that the United States is secure from proliferation of dual-use commodities and chemical weapons, (3) ensuring that weather forecasts and severe weather warnings are accurate and timely, (4) improving the economy in distressed areas, and (5) addressing other challenges to building a high-performing organization.
