FBI Payment of Claims From Current Operating Appropriations Without Regard to Amount]

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) proposed to pay claims for property damage or personal injury from current operating appropriations without regard to the amount involved. GAO advised the FBI that the payment for such claims is limited to a maximum payment of $500 in any one case.
