Status of Budget Authority Rescission Proposed in President's Fourth Special Message for FY 1984

GAO reported on the status of the President's proposed rescission of budget obligations that had been made available for Occupational Safety and Health Administration salaries and expenses. Since Congress did not act on the proposal within the period prescribed by applicable legislation, the budget authority was apportioned for the salaries and expenses.
