GAO provided information on major policy, management, and program issues facing the Department of Labor.

GAO found that Labor will need to: (1) improve the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's enforcement program; (2) enhance the use of Job Training Partnership Act resources; (3) develop a strategy to address recessionary problems; (4) implement the new Economic Dislocation and Worker Adjustment Assistance Program; and (5) sustain its management improvements.
