GAO reviewed an independent certified public accountant's audit of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline Liability Fund as of December 31, 1985, and the changes in net assets available for claims for the year then ended.

GAO found that the financial statements presented fairly the financial position of the fund as of December 31, 1985, and the net assets available for claims for the year then ended, in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles applied on a consistent basis.
