Control of Emissions of Air Pollution From Nonroad Diesel Engines Gao ID: OGC-99-11 November 6, 1998

Pursuant to a legislative requirement, GAO reviewed the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) new rule on control of emissions of air pollution from nonroad diesel engines. GAO noted that: (1) the rule would enforce new emission standards for nonroad diesel engines used in most land-based nonroad equipment and some marine applications; and (2) EPA complied with applicable requirements in promulgating the rule.
