Checklist for Reviewing Systems Under the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act of 1996 (Superseded by AIMD-21.2.8) Gao ID: AIMD-00-21.2.8 December 1, 1999

Federal agencies must implement and maintain financial management systems that substantially comply with the federal financial management systems requirements that are spelled out by the Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP) and the Office of Management and Budget. This checklist reflects JFMIP's revised travel system requirements to help (1) agencies implement and monitor their travel systems and (2) management auditors review their travel systems to determine if they are complying with JFMIP's guidelines.
