Request To Retain Up to 1138 Hours of Restored Annual Leave

Gao ID: B-195496(THK) August 31, 1979

Legislation provides that annual leave restored to an employee because of an unjustified or unwarranted personnel action previously taken against him must be scheduled and used by the end of the leave year ending 2 years after the date on which the leave is credited. The legislation also provides that leave in excess of an employee's annual leave ceiling is required to be credited to a separate leave account so that the restored leave will be available for use within reasonable time limits to be prescribed by regulations.
