President's Fourth Special Message for Fiscal Year 1983

GAO reviewed the President's fourth special message for fiscal year 1983 which proposed four deferrals totaling approximately $39 million and a revision to a previously reported deferral which increased the amount deferred by $10 million.

GAO identified no additional information that would be useful to Congress in its consideration of the President's proposals and believed that the proposed deferrals were in accordance with existing authority.
