President's Twelfth Special Message for Fiscal Year 1982

Pursuant to the Impoundment Control Act of 1974, the President's twelfth special message for fiscal year 1982 was transmitted to Congress on May 18, 1982.

This special message proposed revisions to six previously transmitted deferrals, increasing the amounts deferred by $7.5 million. GAO believes that the proposed deferrals are in accordance with existing authority. GAO identified no further information which would be useful to Congress in its consideration of the President's proposals.
